WIZWIRE MAIL SERVICES - END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT: WizWire offers email services under the following conditions, understanding, and agreement with our email customers and/or users. WizWire provides paid email services, along with built-in web-mail access that we support. WizWire allows additional user access for external mail client apps and programs via secure, PCI-compliant mail-server communication, life-cycle and deprecation standards, protocols, ports, encryption, etc., available for the use of external mail apps and programs such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Mac Mail, Apple/Windows/Android/IOS Mail Apps, G-Mail, etc. WizWire is not responsible for, nor obligated to support external apps and programs. WizWire, at our discretion, may opt to provide paid support for external programs. WizWire, like most mail providers, offers web-based access that we control and support, included with email service packages for our mail customers. We do not, and cannot, lay claim, nor are bound to support external mail software or other mail providers outside our system. Software owned by the customer is their sole right and responsibility. Servers owned by other companies and/or individuals are the right and responsibility of the companies and/or individuals that own or control them. WizWire Communications reserves the right to charge for setup, maintenance, and support, in addition to other provided services. WizWire provides setup information for external mail clients to access, send, and receive via encrypted SMTP, IMAP, and POP3 on the Support page, for those customers who wish to use their own programs to interact with their email. Client applications must be able to use TLS 1.2 by default. WizWire reserves the right to enact changes to security-related settings and availability at will, such as allowed ports, protocols, encryption, usernames, passwords, failed access attempts, and any other security-related issue on our servers. WizWire reserves the right to enforce common security standards and restrictions for events such as, but not limited to: maximum number of mails sent in 24 hours, mailbox size (quota), password resets, too many failed logins, excessive number of errors, and anything else that may present a risk to the security of WizWire, WizWire servers, or our customers. WizWire allows external communications between external mail client applications and mail-related servers over secure encrypted channels via common ports and protocols that comply with PCI security standards. We do not support unencrypted ports and protocols, as they are common points of attack during information transmission between private networks and the Internet in general, and are by nature open to information-gathering and malicious code injection because they transmit information in plain text. WizWire supports the settings given on the Support page of our website-- https://wizwire.com/support.php WizWire provides limited spam-filtering. We do not block incoming mail. Suspected spam is tagged with "SPAM?" in the Subject line. Additional actions taken by external client applications are the responsibility of the software's owner/user. WizWire reserves the right to deny access to any entity whether person, company, corporation, government, program or any other body --legal, human, digital, or otherwise-- attempting or potentially attempting to access WizWire servers, systems, assets, personel, or infrastructure in any manner that may be considered inappropriate, harmful, unlawful, or disagreeable to the purposes of WizWire Communications, it's owners, stake-holders, employees, subordinates, customers, and/or affiliates. Use of non-compliant settings, software, or equipment can result in complete and automatic lockout by the server's firewall for all devices on your Internet connection, and is not supported by WizWire. WizWire supports current security requirements for https, ssl, tls, and other encryption protocols in accordance with PCI-compliant standards. If your mail program/app or operating system is old, deprecated, or simply hasn't been updated/updatable in a while, you may need to upgrade your email client, operating system, and/or computer, phone, tablet, or other device in order to send or receive mail. Current mail encryption standard is TLS 1.2. If you have deprecated software, no longer supported by the manufacturer, such as Windows 7/8.x, Windows Live Mail, deprecated versions of Outlook/Office, or Mac Mail on Mac OS versions older than 10.10.4, you may not be compliant by default, even if you have the relevant updates. This is by no means an extensive, nor all-inclusive list. For some, there may be a way of patching your system so Windows 7 and Outlook 2007/2010/2012 etc. will use TLS 1.2, however this falls under paid support and upgrading to currently supported and up-to-date applications and operating systems is recommended. Use of non-compliant settings or software may result in complete and automatic lockout by the server's firewall for all devices on your Internet connection. Use of non-recommended settings or non-compliant software is not supported by WizWire and may incur additional fees if support is required due to the use of settings other than those listed on the Support page, or due to additional support required to enable compliance in client software.
